Wouldn’t recommend this place for iced drinks. I ordered an iced matcha, but all I could taste was milk — there was no matcha flavour at all. I also ordered a slice of cheesecake, but noticed the staff took a piece that was already sitting on another plate and wrapped up, not from the refrigerated display where the other slices were. The piece I received was noticeably smaller and felt quite stingy compared to what’s shown in the fridge. As someone who has worked in this industry before, I know the goal is to give the customer an enjoyable experience. Customers expect to receive the food that’s displayed — it’s rude and unfair to be given a piece that someone most likely sent back. I even noticed the girl behind the counter looked unsure if it was okay to send it out, but was told “yes, that’s fine.” I don’t blame her, but still — that’s not acceptable. I’d also suggest your barista test their drink-making skills before being put on coffee duty, because the iced matcha was honestly foul. I couldn’t drink it after the first sip. I tried to eat as much of the cheesecake as I could since I hate wasting food and money, but it wasn’t enjoyable. Shortly after, I started feeling unwell and ended up having to leave. Really disappointing experience overall — I’d suggest being cautious if you plan to order iced drinks or desserts here.
