Absolutely fantastic experience at Soul Brew Cafe. The menu has a great selection of meals, with both breakfast and lunch options available, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality of food you get. I had the salmon cream cheese bagel and it was incredible. It came paired with green apple, red onion, and capers. I’ve never had apple on a bagel before, but now I feel like I’ve been missing out this whole time. The apple added such a perfect sweetness and tartness that worked amazingly with the salmon and cream cheese. There were also crispy fried capers on the plate with a drizzle of Hollandaise sauce, which was the perfect finishing touch. The crispy capers were honestly so good. We also ordered a hashbrown on the side, and it was hands down the best hashbrown I’ve ever had. Not oily at all, unbelievably crispy on the outside, perfectly salted, and soft and pillowy inside. 10/10 hashbrown. I’d genuinely come back just for a plate of those alone. The eggs Benedict was also phenomenal. Beautiful creamy Hollandaise sauce with the perfect amount served, plus generous portions of perfectly cooked bacon and two poached eggs. The whole dish was delicious from start to finish. The drinks were also fantastic. I had an iced matcha and it was really tasty and refreshing. Everything came out quickly, both the food and drinks, and the service was wonderful. The staff were all very kind and welcoming. Overall, a genuinely fantastic experience and somewhere I’d happily recommend to others. 5 out of 5 stars!
